I made these three king ornaments using spun cotton over a wire and foil armature, then painted with water based inks and pastel, sealed with a matte fixative. They are approximately 1 1/2” x 4” tall, have glass eyes and will have a waxed cotton hang cord attached. The Lions mane is made of needle felted camel hair roving. Their clothes are made of either crepe paper or cotton flannel, crowns are painted lace and they are bearing little ornament gifts.
