Lionel was sculpted from Paper clay, fabric, wood, wool and paint. His torso and upper limbs are sewn cotton stuffed with wool and his lower limbs are carved wood. His clothes are made of scrap cotton and linen, with leather suspenders and his mane is needle felted camel hair roving, eyes are painted porcelain.
He is about 9 1/2" tall and can sit, be displayed in a doll chair or propped on a shelf or on the black metal Kaiser doll stand that is included.
