Bird doll 6" wood and cloth 10
This little bird doll’s head was carved out of basswood and painted, the body is cotton stuffed with wool. Clothes are cotton and antique lace, embellished with hand stitching. Eyes are made of hematite beads. The lower limbs are painted wood. I’ve sewn a small pocket on the back that the wire fits into to stand.
She is 6” tall and comes with a simple wood and wire doll stand, or can sit propped on a shelf or in a doll chair.
