Folk Art Doll, Riana 11"
Riana was sculpted from Paper clay, fabric and sticks, then painted with pastels and sealed with a matte fixative. Her clothes are made of scrap linen and cotton that has been plant dyed and embellished with hand stitching and a glass vintage button. Her arms and legs are made of carved sticks that are bead jointed at the knees and elbows. Her eyes are hematite beads and her hair is made of dyed flax.
She is about 11" tall and can sit, be displayed on a wall or shadow box from the loop sewn to her back or be displayed on a black metal kaiser doll stand, which is included.
