January was sculpted from Paper clay, fabric and sticks and paint. Her clothes are made of scrap tea stained cotton flannel, cotton jersey and cashmere, embellished with hand stitching. Her arms and legs are made of carved sticks, jointed at the elbows and knees with beads. Her hair is made from bleached flax, sewn in place and her eyes are hematite beads.
She is about 11" tall and can sit, be displayed on a wall or shadow box from the loop sewn to her back or be displayed on a black metal kaiser doll stand, which is included.
