April was sculpted from Paper clay, fabric and sticks and paint. Her clothes are made of scrap linen and flannel, embellished with hand stitching. Her arms and legs are made of carved sticks, jointed at the elbows and knees with beads. Her hair is made from braided tussah silk, adorned with a wool beret, and her eyes are painted porcelain.
She is about 11" tall and can sit, be displayed on a wall or shadow box from the loop sewn to her back or be displayed on a black metal kaiser doll stand, which is included.
